Barbara Miller

Barbara Miller is an experienced growth equity investor with unique perspective regarding shareholder relations, corporate governance and issues surrounding capital raising, including transition from private to public. She offers more than 30 years' experience evaluating key factors that characterize successful growth companies, with specific expertise regarding the consumer sector. Her adept evaluation of managerial, strategic, financial and competitive factors has enabled her to identify and invest in leadership brands at early stages of growth, with examples ranging from Costco and Chipotle to Lululemon, Wingstop and Shopify.

Barbara is a senior portfolio manager with Federated Hermes Kaufmann Funds in New York and has been with the firm since 2002. Rarlier, she was an investment research analyst at Goldman Sachs and Alex. Brown, and prior to that worked as a public relations professional and broadcast journalist. Barbara is a graduate Harvard Business School (MBA) and Brown University (AB, Economics).
